Cruising for a Cause: Benefiting the Bahamas Children's Emergency Hostel
Please join Mrs Southeast International 2015, Lee Pettyjohn, Unlimited Destinations, LLC, and Carnival Cruise lines as we embark on an incredible 5 night Eastern Caribbean Cruise, departing from Ft Lauderdale, with stops in Nassau, Half Moon Cay, and Grank Turk!
We are delighted to have this event benefit the Bahamas Children's Emergency Hostel (foster home facility) in Nassau! For every cabin sold, the foster home will receive $50! That's a huge benefit to such a deserving organization!
Thank you for your interest in joining us for a 4th of July BASH and a great opportunity to bless this organization with much needed funds for the 36 children that they house. Please feel free to share and invite your friends, family members, and facebook friends.
Cruising aboard Carnival Conquest elevates fun at sea to an art form — the ship demonstrates a true mastery of the craft with an onboard collage of fun spots for you to enjoy, like Guy's Burger Joint, RedFrog Rum Bar and EA SPORTS Bar.
There's fun everywhere you look, from the dance club (great for people-watching) to the show lounges (great for show-watching). The Taste Bar delivers small bites with big flavor, and the Alchemy Bar serves up not only one-of-a-kind drinks, but a complete experience for your senses. There's even The Punchliner Comedy Club Presented by George Lopez, which gives stand-up comedians a microphone and a place to share their craft for your enjoyment. And let’s not forget Seuss at Sea, which turns classic Dr. Seuss stories and characters into big fun for all.
You don't need to be able to tell a Monet from a Renoir to dine in our two artful dining rooms, you just need to be hungry. You don’t need a performing arts degree to enjoy lively musical shows onstage at Playlist Productions, but you can say you’re experiencing art from your seat. You don't even need to read a rule book to enjoy Hasbro, The Game Show, where big fun takes the stage in a live game show anyone can enjoy.
With delicious food, bars and entertainment, Carnival Conquest has a scene for everybody.

QUESTIONS THAT YOU MAY HAVE:
*Do I Need a Passport for this Cruise?
The short answer, no! For U.S. citizens on closed-loop cruises (cruises that begin and end at the same port in the U.S.), you will be able to enter or depart the country with proof of citizenship, such as a government-issued birth certificate AND government issued picture id OR a passport.
A U.S. citizen under the age of 16 will be able to present either an original, notarized or certified copy of his or her birth certificate, a Consular Report of Birth Abroad issues by DOS, or Certificate of Naturalization issued by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.
*Do I have to pay now?
The short answer, no! The deposit amount of $50/person isn't due until September 1st; which gives you plenty of time to decide if you want to cruise and decide which cabin type you will be wanting. I would prefer to have a head count of inside, ocean view, and balcony cabin requests prior to then, so I can make sure we have enough in inventory for the group.
The 2nd payment amount of $150/person is due by March 1, 2016. At this time, cabin assignments will be made, so each person in the cabin will need to pay the total of $200/person. However, for those who prefer to have their cabin assigned prior to March (or those who will need a triple or quad cabin or who would like a connecting room, please strongly consider paying the full $200/person asap, to avoid those cabins being booked).
The final payment is due by May 1, 2016. The amount will vary, based on your cabin type.
*Will we be able to tour the Bahamas Children's Emergency Hostel while visiting Nassau?
The short answer, YES! I have arranged with the home to provide a 15-20 minute tour for anyone interested in going. We have also arranged for your transportation, to and from the Nassau port. It is located 3-4 miles from the port, and the transportation space is limited, so at time of your initial deposit, a list of the individuals in your cabin who will be going would be ideal. They are SO excited to be working with us and thankful to God for the support - I am equally as excited to help!
*What's included in the cruise price?
The short answer, practically everything! Additionally, either prior to your cruise or once on board, a small gratuity amount of $12/person each day is required to cover the dining staff, cabin steward, etc. For the 5 day cruise, that's a total of $60/person total. All of your meals, snacks, coffee, tea, lemonade drinks are included. As well, ALL of the entertainment; which includes bingo, live music, comedy shows, karaoke......you name it, they have it! For those of you who drink soda or alcohol drinks, those are not included. There are basic and premium packages that you can purchase, to avoid paying separately and saving some. You can also bring soda, bottled water, juice, and bottles of wine on board. That is what quite a few clients do, to avoid the cost on board. I will provide details and 'tidbits' as we move along with the planning, but wanted to mention that.
